The Yorkshire Moors Racing (YMR) syndicate has been created to provide an opportunity for people to part own a racehorse, and enjoy the ownership experience, without the expense of becoming a full registered owner.
Owners share the initial costs of the racehorse, with a one-off purchase fee, along with a fixed price, fully inclusive, monthly commitment.
YMR Owners will be regularly updated with race plans, pictures and videos of their horse and will receive their share of any prize money and sales proceeds, should the horse be sold.
Ownership in each YMR syndicate is limited to ensure that every Owner can enjoy the race day experience. Owner's badges, providing access to the parade ring and winners enclosure, along with lounge access (where provided by the racecourse) will be available to all owners when their horse is engaged to run. There is no ballot for race day badges.
Owners are welcome to visit the yard to see their horse at any time, as well as to attend YMR Open Mornings.
After a successful 2-year-old season, the first horse syndicated by YMR, Star of Lazise, came under the hammer at the Tattersalls Horses In Training Sale, resulting in a tidy profit for his syndicate owners.

2024 Mohaather Yearling Filly

NOW SOLD OUT!
Bought from the Tattersalls Somerville Yearling Sale, this stunning athletic daughter of Mohaather was the very last lot through the ring, and as most buyers had called it a night by that point in the dark and rain, we believe we’ve found some fantastic value! She already holds an entry in the Somerville Auction Stakes, which is a 6f Sales Race held at the Newmarket July Course in late August, with a £200,000 prize pot for 2026.

The dam Elvrika (by Kodiac) was purchased by Park Farm Stud for €100,000 at Arqana Breeze Up Sales in France as a juvenile, and won twice in her career, achieving a rating of 83. Her first foal was a two-year-old by Bated Breath which is in training in Newmarket, and she also had a colt foal this year by Little Big Bear. She has some outstanding black type performers on her page including Villa Carlotta, Ceildh House, Kinross, First Selection, Subya and Battle Of Hastings.

As you can see from the video, she is a lovely mover and really covers the ground. She has a touch of class about her and we feel we’ve got a really nice horse at a bargain price for this year’s syndicate. She is cantering away really well on the gallops, she is one of my more forward ones both to look at and in what she is producing in her work thus far. I've been really pleased with her progress since getting her back from her pre-trainer and I would certainly not put anyone off her that may be interested in taking a share! I expect her to be out fairly early in the season with an expected trip of 6f.
Her sire Mohaather won the Group 3 Horris Hill and Greenham at Newbury, the Group 2 Mile Stakes at Ascot and finished off with the Group 1 Sussex Stakes at Goodwood beating Circus Maximus, Siskin and Kameko amongst others. He stands at stud for £15,000 and has already produced the likes of Big Mojo, Cape Orator, Merveilleux Lapin, Yah Mo Be There, Serving With Style, God Of War etc.
