The Yorkshire Moors Racing (YMR) syndicate has been created to provide an opportunity for people to part own a racehorse, and enjoy the ownership experience, without the expense of becoming a full registered owner.
Owners share the initial costs of the racehorse, with a one-off purchase fee, along with a fixed price, fully inclusive, monthly commitment.
YMR Owners will be regularly updated with race plans, pictures and videos of their horse and will receive their share of any prize money and sales proceeds, should the horse be sold.
Ownership in each YMR syndicate is limited to ensure that every Owner can enjoy the race day experience. Owner's badges, providing access to the parade ring and winners enclosure, along with lounge access (where provided by the racecourse) will be available to all owners when their horse is engaged to run. There is no ballot for race day badges.
Owners are welcome to visit the yard to see their horse at any time, as well as to attend YMR Open Mornings.
After a successful 2-year-old season, the first horse syndicated by YMR, Star of Lazise, came under the hammer at the Tattersalls Horses In Training Sale, resulting in a tidy profit for his syndicate owners.​

2024 Colt By Supremacy (IRE) Out Of Scarlet Pimpernel
This strong colt is by Supremacy and was purchased at Goffs Orby Sale in Ireland. He looks like an early type, and as he's Irish bred, he is eligible for a €10,000 Irish Incentive, we've already pocketed a few of these and expect him to be getting one too!
​His sire Supremacy (by champion sire Mehmas) was a top-class 2yo performer inc winning the Middle Park G1 and Richmond Stakes G2, and he's from the family of Xtension and Harry Angel.
His dam won a couple of times over 1m4 in France, and has bred 3 winners thus far, including Sioux Spirit who gained a RP rating of 90. Given the stamina on the dam side, it's not impossible this fella will stay a bit further in time, but we think he has taken more after his strong speedy sire looking at him physically. We expect him to be one of our first 2 year olds to hit the track next year. He is now back with us to commence his training and we have been really pleased with his attitude thus far. I think he was real value and it was purely down to his sire not being regarded as fashionable, but he did produce Group 3 winner Anthelia from his first crop this year, so we aren't too worried about his genes! We are super excited about this 2023 filly by Harry Angel, purchased from the Tattersalls Autumn Horses In Trai​ning Sale. She had 6 runs at two-years-old, winning on second start over 5f at Sandown, making all and showing how speedy she is. She then stepped up to Listed company at Newbury, where she found herself behind early doors, but finished strongly beaten just 2.75 lengths. This performance earned her an opening mark of 85. At this point in her career she stepped up to 6f, which we don't believe brought out the best in her, albeit still running respectably. Her cadence data makes for eye watering reading, being an even higher figure than our stable star sprinter Blue Storm. This is a filly that we think could track a similar route to him in his 3 year old season; taking in the Epsom 3yo Dash and possibly Palace Of Holyrood at Royal Ascot. She hailed from the Andrew Balding stable, where we have previously bought Mostly Cloudy and Light Speed from. Andrew is a trainer that takes his time with his 2-year-olds, so you know there will be plenty of miles left on the clock for us to work with.
