We are thrilled with our latest purchase for the syndicate, a cracking yearling filly by Elzaam. She has a strong shoulder, and a decent back-end, which is what we like to see in a yearling bred for speed. She is a nice mover, and uses her limbs well. Her wind test was clean, and she showed a lovely attitude on the lunge. We are a fan of the sire, and have done well with his progeny in the past.
She was bought at the Tattersalls Ireland Yearling Sale. The final day of the sale provided amazing value for buyers, as the vast majority of purchasers didn’t stay for the whole week. We feel if this filly was offered on an earlier day of the sale, she would have made a great deal more.
Her dam has thrown 4 winners from 6 runners thus far, all from inexpensive sires.

The filly was broken in professionally at my pre-trainer’s yard, and came back to us in early December to continue her training and education. She's been pleasing thus far, and has been cantering upsides nicely on our gallops.
As she has a sharp-looking physical, and is bred for speed, we expect her trip to be around 6f, and for her to be an early type to get to the track next year.

There is an initial one-off payment to purchase your share, with a monthly all-inclusive training fee payment. Costings are as follows:

10% purchase at £1699 and £289 per month
25% purchase at £4199 and £699 per month
Monthly payments start 1st March 2025
